OnMay 25, 2022, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that Plastikon Healthcare is voluntarily recalling 6 of lots of Magnesium Hydroxide 1200 mg/Aluminum Hydroxide 1200 mg/Simethicone 120 mg per 30 mL as a Class I Recall, due to microbial contamination.
