Recall of Losartan Potassium and Losartan Potassium and Hydrochlorothiazide tablets

OnJanuary 22, February 22, February 28, March 1, March 19, March 25, April 18, and May 3, 2019, certain manufacturers (Camber Pharmaceuticals, Macleods Pharmaceuticals Limited, Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited, Legacy Pharmaceutical Packaging and Vivimed Life Sciences) of Losartan Potassium and Losartan Potassium and Hydrochlorothiazide tablets recalled certain lots of the product. Losartan Potassium is a drug used to treat high blood pressure and heart failure.

The makers of Losartan Potassium and Losartan Potassium and Hydrochlorothiazide tablets are recalling this medicine because they may have small amounts of an ingredient that could cause cancer.
